Pasadena City College LVN program 2018

Hi all! I wanted to start this thread to see who has applied or will apply to the LVN program at PCC for fall of 2018. I already submitted my application and if anyone has tried in the past or is already in the program please feel free to offer advice! Thank you! GOOD LUCK!

Congrats! I believe the LVN teas doesn't have the science portion...from what I gather from past threads/posts? But someone please confirm this as I'm not sure

I was the alternate last year and we did take the since portion of the tease.

I emailed the director of the LVN program I am just so worried that because of this i am going to get kicked out. As far as the tease goes I was a alternate last year and we took the tease 5 with the science portion . I haven't heard anything about this year.

Updated... I just got a email back from the director of the program and she said that it should be ok considering the amount of time that has past...yeyyyyy.

Did she mention anything regarding the teas exam? Like if there will be science in it for this years class

Yeah i was told there would be no science last year and to my surprise and to many there was a science portion. My only concern is the scores.

Was the teas hard for you? What score did you end up getting if you don't mind me asking?

I got my acceptance too! But now I'm worried about the score whether it's 62 or 58 like it says on the website? Can anyone confirm what cutoff score they want? And also any tips or comments about the teas if you've taken it before? Thanks!

When did you receive the acceptance letter ? I haven't received any, so I am so nervous. I sent an email to Pcc health science, but they haven't reply yet. Thank you

okay so I emailed my Intent form today and asked about the teas.

They said its the ATI TEAS 6, same one as the RN. The cut off is 62.

If you guys have any study tips send them my way!! Im really nervous!!!

I still haven't received mine yet either. I actually went up to the school this morning and the representative really wasn't any help. She told me to give it another week because they haven't finished processing everyone yet

there is a science portion on the teas but what I'm confused about is if they will count the science score or not can someone verify?
