Hi all! I wanted to start this thread to see who has applied or will apply to the LVN program at PCC for fall of 2018. I already submitted my application and if anyone has tried in the past or is already in the program please feel free to offer advice! Thank you! GOOD LUCK!
I don't get why they don't just say its the ATI teas 6 from the beginning, instead of calling it the LVN teas that's very confusing. It makes it seem like they're 2 different test. Honestly, it makes me a upset that they didn't just call it that I would have been studying for that a long time ago I have my study guides for the teas 6 but I had put them aside just I was trying to figure out what the LVN teas was and what I should study for it. I wasted so much time!!
And why do we have to take the ATI TEAS 6 for LVN? agh! I wanted to really take my time to review for the teas 6 so when I take it for the RN program I would score well...
Sorry guys just ranting...lol!
Anyway, good luck studying. We got this!!

Trust me this is how everyone was last year when I took it everyone there for the lvn was shocked we were taking the same test as the RNs were. But it's true even in the lvn prerequisite form is said the teas without the science part but maybe it was like that before but they need to change it because people are not preparing well for the test.

yes they do need to change it.
I emailed them just to ask and they first said that it is the ati teas 6 without the science part, then I got an email 5 mins later saying that they do count the science part.
So pretty much just prepare for the ATI TEAS 6.
How's everyone's studying going? And anyone know how our class schedules will works do we do it ourselves?
I am using the ATI TEAS Seacrets study guide by mometrix (its yellow and black). That one has been very helpful and it also has 3 practice test in the back of the book.

WE GOT THIS!!!
Hi, I will be in the 2018 program and I took and passed the TEAS already. What advice I can provide is to study the hardest on the literacy and comprehension portion, that was the toughest. The books I purchased from ATI were of absolutely no help. None at all!!! Luckily I only bought the study guide book.
