Trust me...I'm in the same boat. Been searching for years.
I did come across 2 schools in the Chicago area for those who already have a Bachelors in another field.
Lewis University has a night/weekend option. Classes meet from 6 to 10 3 or 4 nights a week and clinicals are on Saturdays and Sundays.
West Suburban College of Nursing is in Oak Park and they also have a part time option with classes starting from 5 or 6 until 10 or 11 4 nights a week with clinicals on Saturdays. Both sound like grueling schedules when you still have to maintain a fulltime day job, but those are my only 2 options if I want to become a nurse. I can't quit my day job to attend a traditional program as I am heavily in debt and have to keep my household running. My accounting job pays well with good benefits and I couldn't get a job working 3rd shift that would pay as much. Fortunately my son is 18 and is entering college and without small children to care for, I am more free to have a life of only work/school/study for 1 1/2 years.
Good luck to you
Well if you want to move to Toledo i'm starting a part time evening/weekends program @ Mercy College of Northwest Ohio this fall. We have nursing classes twice a week from 5:30-6:50 and clinicals every other weekend from 7-1:30.
If you don't have any of your gen ed done like A&P, Micro, English etc then you take one of those courses w/ your nursing courses but they are also offered at night, usually one night from 5:30-8:20.
My schedule for fall:
Pathophys M - 5:30-8:20
Intro to Nursing T - 5:30-7:00
Intro to Nursing W - 5:30-7:00
Clinicals e/o SS - 7-1:30
Then you obviously have additional lab time and patient research on Friday's but the lab & library both have nights they are open until 9 & 7 respectively and you have until 8:30p to have your patient assesment done on Friday nights.
Rose State College in Oklahoma has an evening/weekend ADN program, as well as an online ADN program. www.rose.edu. It is a good program, but it is hard to get into.
I hope you find what you are looking for!
Check out Maricopa Community College District. Phoenix, AZ they offer several different options for ADN at 10 colleges in Maricopa County. I am in the hybrid program and we go to class T & Th 330-9, and clinicals start after we finish all the class work on M&T 4-11. They also have an online program at Rio Salado and a weekend program at a few of the schools.
I know here in Miami, FL we have a PT program that I believe is in the afternoon/evening. Check out http://www.mdc.edu/medical/Nursing/default.asp. Good luck.

Since I have to support myself while attending nursing school, can anyone tell me if they have a PT evening/weekend program in their area? We don't have one here and I'm willing to move. I'd be interested in ADN, BSN, Accelerated BSN or MSN for people with a bachelor's in another field. I want to be open to all options and if that means moving, then so be it. Thanks!!
