I received an email on the 27th stating my application and resume has moved on to the next stage of review for L&D. Not sure what that means haha but I guess it's better than receiving no email at all!

I applied to MICU, SICU, and Medsurg. I received an email about my application going to HR for MICU. Hopefully that's better than nothing!

At parkland when you get the email about your application moving onto the hiring manager -- does everyone that applied get that email or only certain people?

I hate that I got excited when I received the first email, but it's been a week and nothing. Then I got it again for the other 2 applications I put in. So I don't know if everyone gets that email but I've received 3 with no calls.

While we are waiting to hear something, what is everyone's GPA, hospital experience, where are you going to school/where are you from?

I'm from Dallas going to TWU. Current GPA IS 3.78. I have about 6 years non nursing experience in a hospital in Dallas.

Sounds like you've got some great experience under your belt! Are you a CNA/EMT/tech?

I'm from Idaho, going to Lewis-Clark State College. Current GPA- 3.8, work full time during school, 3 years of acute care experience as an ER Tech/CNA.
