Parkland Residency Winter 2016

Hi all, I wanted to start a thread for those who have applied to the Parkland new grad residencies starting in January/February 2016. So far they have posted positions for L&D, NICU, ER, and med-surg. Feel free to share any progress on interviews, ask questions, etc.

Had my interview today and it went well (in my opinion)! They were very nice and honest about the position. I know it will be a challenging place to work but it just felt right. Wishing everyone the best!

Also I didn't ask by when we would hear but the manager just said she would contact us. I'm figuring it's almost Thanksgiving so there's not much time to wait anyway.

They told me that we would know by next week!

Okay good! I must be interviewing on the last day then (the 23rd) that was the last day they had available and the only day I could do it. So we should know very soon after that. How nerve wracking!

I received an offer during the evening hours the day after my interview! I wish you guys the best of luck with your interviews!

Thank you guys! Don't worry I would give it more time since they are still interviewing. They said they will have 20 in this cohort.

Don't get discouraged yet. I'm not even interviewing until Monday so I would at least wait until right around Thanksgiving.

I also applied for the NICU residency and I actually had an interview on Oct. 29. I haven't heard anything yet. I know you mentioned that a friend of yours interviewed for the NICU residency as well. Did your friend hear back yet? This wait is so mind boggling :-/

Hi there! I interviewed for the NICU on Oct 26th and was offered a position on November 4th. I am not sure if they have already sent out all offers, I would definitely contact the recruiter and inquire! Don't be discouraged, the job process is so stressful but everyone will truly be where they are meant to be!
