parkland jan 2011 residency

Published

I just had an interview on Monday for a nurse resident position in the NNICU. This is my dream job and I want it SOO bad, but I feel like I did not shine as bright as I could in my interview because all the questions were those situation one "tell me about a time...". I still think it went well I just wish I would have said more. I already work on a different floor as a student/tech, so I don't know how much that will affect whether or not they choose me. Any current employees or other people who applied have any information on the residency/hiring process? Is the medication test only if you get offered a position? Thanks for any feedback. :uhoh3:

I believe she said only 8. She also told me she had to turn down a lot of internal employees too.

Hmm. I tried calling today too and it said she was out of town. What are they looking for I wonder?? Good luck on your continues search...our jobs are out there somewhere we just need to find them..and soon!

Is this number 500 for the labor and delivery residency...? did anyone apply for NICU?

I applied and inteviewed for NICU back in september/early october. I think they made their decisions awhile ago? Not sure though.

Well I called and was told I was not selected :(

So did anyone else on here that interviewed for L&D get an offer?

I forgot to try calling back, have not heard anything yet.
