Anyone apply to Parkland for their Feb 2014 residencies/internships? Thought we could use this threat to keep in touch with one another/support one another through the process of hopefully receiving a job through them :)

I applied to SICU and ortho/med-surg. Received an email today for an interview for SICU. Super excited and nervous!

Anyone else out there?

The SICU interview wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. I think I did well. They said they are interviewing 80 candidates and hiring 12-14 nurses into the residency program. Hope I am one of them!!

Anyone go to a SICU interview ask when they are making their decision though? I forgot to ask lol

I applied for L&D internship and my app was forwarded to the hiring manager. Any idea how long before they offer an interview?

Yay!! I have an interview for the ER!!!

Hi,

Congrats! I received an interview invite email today as well. Has anyone ever worked here (especially as a new grad)? Any thoughts on the hospital? Any suggestions or tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I got an interview for ED too! Looking for plane tickets now. Do they hire after one interview or do you have to complete a second interview too?

I believe 1 interview is all:)

Thanks :) Plane tickets are expensive so I was hoping it was just one. Any idea how many ER positions open vs. how many interviews?

I've been told by many, many people that if you work for this particular hospital, you can just about get a job at any other hospital in the area. You get a lot of good experience.

Congrats to everyone who has an interview!

I am still waiting to hear back from SICU. I really think my interview went well. Anyone else hear anything yet?

This is my first post. I did not see this post and posted something similar as few minutes ago. Anyways, good luck!!!! Safe travels! I received my email on Friday and sent them an email back confirming my two interview dates but haven't heard anything back.

Hi! I interviewed for SICU on Monday and received an offer Wednesday afternoon! :) I'm beyond excited for this opportunity!!
