Parkland Feb 2014 residencies/internships

Anyone apply to Parkland for their Feb 2014 residencies/internships? Thought we could use this threat to keep in touch with one another/support one another through the process of hopefully receiving a job through them :)

I applied to SICU and ortho/med-surg. Received an email today for an interview for SICU. Super excited and nervous!

Anyone else out there?

Also, did the hiring manager contact you to confirm the interview date? I emailed Friday and never revived anything back.

Hi, this is my first post. I applied today for OR, ER, Med-Surg residency. I'm on a visa so I can only work 20 hours a week. Do you think they will at least consider me?

I had read in a previous thread regarding Parkland Internships that they were 8-5 M-F... If anyone could verify that would be helpful...

Do you know if they have contacted everyone yet? I haven't received any news about if I was accepted or not. I would assume I would have heard if I wasn't selected too.

Tickets are sooo expensive, it gonna cost me about $1000, hopefully i will do well on interview. I replyed to the email with my prefered date and time , but still have heard back from them. Did anyone recieve an interview confirmation email?

I don't know if I felt like I "nailed it" or not! I just practiced answering common interview questions which really seemed to help during the interview. Just be honest and be yourself! The recruiter confirmed the interview time/date a couple of days after I emailed her. If you emailed her friday you'll probably hear back in the next couple of days.

I'm not really sure! They may not send emails to those who weren't selected until they've heard back from all of the people they extended an offer to. You could probably email the recruiter and ask though!

Did you hear from them by email or phone?

It's crazy that you heard something on Wednesday because they were still doing interviews on that day. I really hope to hear something!

I received an email confirmation this morning confirming my interview time. I emailed the recruiter on Friday, late afternoon. I am going on Thursday.

I emailed the recruiter asking when i would find out. She just emailed me back stating I did not get the position :( Not going to lie, I am a bit crushed :(
