  1. I have heard the exact same things! I have reached put to a few people that have graduated or currently attending UTA and they seemed pleased with the program. I have had coworkers in the past who have graduated from UTA and have found gainful employment and said they were pleased. I’m going to give it a go, here’s the link https://www.facebook.com/groups/385652676361311/?ref=share
  2. Hey! I am reaching put to anyone who is starting at UT Arlington's Spring 2022 PMHNP program. I started a FB group so we have a place to connect and share resources. I'm looking forward to this! UTA PMHNP Spring 2022 If for some reason the link doesn't work, just search for it in FB Groups.
  3. Anyone apply for Class 147? I applied late and was wondering if anyone had been accepted?
  4. First time posting but a long time follower. I have been a RN for 2 years and have worked full time in a rural Cath Lab since I graduated. I worked as a paramedic for 5 years prior to that. I have no prior "nursing" experience although I do consider my last 2 years in the Cath Lab here pretty solid. Long story short, I am interested in travel nursing and after reading it seems pretty scary to jump off into. Any Cath Lab nurses out there? Also, I have heard about Cath Lab nurses get floated to different floors at other hospitals... Is this true? I'm honestly not sure if I could function on a Ned-surg floor
  5. What did you say? I had some ridiculous answer that, in hindsight, was not what I would do in "real life"
  6. I forgot, they asked me if I was aware of their patient population... I suppose mine was about the same length... It just seemed short.
  7. Thanks 3wishes! How did your interview go?
  8. They did explain the internship length and told me I wouldn't get to choose which shift(am or pm)....
  9. Hey Anna, I interviewed today. I didn't ask anything specific. How long was your interview? I'm not really sure how long an interview is supposed to last but mine seemed short. Lol. 2 weeks seems like an awful LONG time! I have read in previous parkland posts that a lot of people found out within a day or two.
  10. Sooooo???? How did everyone do????
  11. That's crazy Anna! I am very curious as well! Hope your travels are safe.
  12. sorry Briterz! Keep looking or keep trying with them! My tactic is to apply everywhere. Someone is bound to scoop me up lol
  13. I received an email confirmation this morning confirming my interview time. I emailed the recruiter on Friday, late afternoon. I am going on Thursday.
  14. I had read in a previous thread regarding Parkland Internships that they were 8-5 M-F... If anyone could verify that would be helpful...
