It seems like every residency class has had a thread on here except for ours so I figured I would make a thread for those accepted into Parklands ER residency for Feb 2017!

For those that have accepted the offer, does anyone know when we get the actual contract for the job? I have only accepted the offer on my parkland profile.

I just got mine today, they messed my email address up lol. Yes we will receive RN 1 pay, which last I heard is around $28/hr (before shift/weekend differential). Gah I'm so ready to start!

P.s. on the contract it says we start Feb 9th which is a Thursday. At the interview they said the Feb 6th which is a Monday so that makes more sense to me. Maybe the first few days are orientation that is not apart of our contract?

I believe if you're a current Parkland employee, you start on Feb 9th. If you are not, then we start Feb 6th going through the hospital orientation I believe.

I haven't ordered mine yet, but I'm so excited! I have a feeling we're going to have a great group! :) There are quite a few in my class that will be with us!
