Parkland ER Residency Feb 2017

It seems like every residency class has had a thread on here except for ours so I figured I would make a thread for those accepted into Parklands ER residency for Feb 2017!

For those that have accepted the offer, does anyone know when we get the actual contract for the job? I have only accepted the offer on my parkland profile.

Hi there! I'm Savannah. I'll be joining you in the residency! From what I've heard, we should be receiving the residency contract by the end of November. Have you already talked to Veronica about scheduling your Employee Health appointment?

Hey Savannah! I have not talked to her about scheduling the employee health appointment, nor did I know we needed to. I haven't received any information after I accepted my offer. Do we need it scheduled before a certain date? Thanks for the info!

Hi Savannah! I think I sat beside you during interviews! Yummy Lasagna, I haven't received anything else either. I remember Veronica saying she would get back with me soon about setting up an appointment for employee health sometime at the end of November. I submitted my background check and employment history last week.

Sorry i have not posted! I called Veronica and she had totally forgot to send me the paperwork for the background check and employer history lol. So thank you Savannah for the heads up. I scheduled my employee health appointment as well. If anyone hasn't heard from her just give her a call, shes drowning in paperwork and may just not have gotten to you yet.

Does anyone know what color scrubs we need to get?

Congrats! I haven't heard officially, but according to past threads and the color they were wearing in the interview I'm assuming blue.

Yea, I assumed from the interview that we wear Royal Blue and can wear black bottom.

Does anyone know officially?

And does anyone know how many are going to be in our cohort?

Yes, we will wear blue scrubs! We can wear a blue top with blue or black pants. Not sure if the color is Royal Blue, to be precise, but I will find out! Also, there were 23 who were extended offers, so I'm assuming that's how many will be in our cohort! :)
