Pace University ABSN Fall 2021

Hi everyone, decided to start a thread for the Fall 2021 cohort since one wasn’t created yet. (Super early, I know LOL) I was accepted for Fall 2020 but decided to defer. Would love to connect with those who’ve applied/been accepted.

Sure! Just the prereqs for this program:

Anatomy & Physiology I with lab = B+
Anatomy & Physiology II with lab = C+ (I was retaking it this semester tho since other schools required like B+ at least) 
Microbiology with lab = B+
General Chemistry = A
Introductory Psychology = A-
Statistics = A-

My overall undergrad GPA was around 3.75 though since I did better in the other classes I took like lifespan dev, bio, biochem, orgo, etc.

Hey guys, I submitted my application on Jan 31st and got accepted today! It says "Official College Transcript w/ Degree" under holds for me as well, which I'm sure is because they haven't received my bachelor's degree since I will be graduating in May. Below are my stats:

Anatomy & Physiology I with lab: B+
Anatomy & Physiology II with lab: A
Microbiology with lab: A-
General Chemistry I: A-
General Chemistry II: B+
Introductory Psychology: A
Statistics: A-

My undergrad GPA is currently 3.65.

Hey! It says that for me too. I emailed the admission counselor(?) because I graduated last year LOL

Just checked my portal and the top line disappeared as well as my counselor info (but my checklist is still there)...for those wondering, I submitted my application on the deadline. Hopefully I receive a decision soon, but I will share my stats either way!!

I still haven’t heard back and my checklist has no changes or updates. Radio silence!

No, but this morning everything was intact, and just now, the checklist is still there but the top sentence about it being “complete and under review” has just disappeared.

I checked multiple times a day throughout the week because my friend got accepted a week ago. I finally heard back and got accepted! We are both looking forward to attend! I have included all my details so future prospective students or anyone waiting to hear back can get some sort of help. 

This morning around 10 AM, I still had the blurb on top of my checklist saying that my application is still under review. However, when I checked around 3PM, the little blurb was gone so I expected a response soon so all that means is that you will be receiving a response, whether it is an acceptance or rejection so II wouldn't fret too much about the blurb gone. My friend received her response around 6PM so I checked 5:57PM and then refreshed exactly at 6PM and got my acceptance. 

My Prerequisite Grades are as follows:

Anatomy & Physiology I with lab: A
Anatomy & Physiology II with lab: A-
Microbiology with lab: B+
General Chemistry I: C+ 
General Chemistry II: A
Introductory Psychology: A
Statistics: A

My cumulative GPA is 3.52. 

I had LORs from my English and Chemistry professors. I volunteered at two hospitals and a clinic. I shadowed as well. My personal statement was pretty strong I'd say.
