Not sure how comparing a physician's actions to the Codes for Nursing is helpful in this week's discussion. I feel like I have learned nothing. Anybody else?

Look at his practice from Code of Ethics for OB/GYN and then compare that to what the code of ethics for nursing is. ACOG - standards of ethical practice is what I am using

I agree. I can't wait to be done. For me it's on to gerontology so how much better can that be???
Great idea but seems like a bit of research for one question of a discussion board . I'd rather have had 3 different case studies! thanks for the tip!
MD's - unlike nurses, keep it short and sweet with the ethics. here's the link, total 4 pages long http://www.acog.org/About_ACOG/~/media/About%20ACOG/acogcode.ashx

Just out of curiosity, have those in other sections of Legal/Ethics heard from their TA's about this week's assignment? The TA for our section has not posted anything since last week and so there is nothing specific relating to this week's discussion.
Only to continue with the group discussion and some APA writing tips. Nothing extravigant.
Our TA gave us the PEP talk - not to let participation or enthusiasm fall off during week 4.
I suspect we'll get a bit of pep talk and some mild admonition about the quality of the postings when our grades for week 3 are posted - whenever that turns out to be.
