OU 2019 absn (2018 applicant)

Hey! Has anyone else applied to the absn program for 2019? Or heard back yet? I applied to Lawton in the spring and to OKC for summer.

If you end up on the North/Northwest side of town and are interested in carpooling- I’d love that. Haha.

I live in Bartlesville. Does anyone else at the Tulsa campus live outside of Tulsa. I will probably stay at my sister's house in Tulsa when needed. But will be commuting most days.

Hi I’m a little late, but I applied to both OU OKC and OU Tulsa and received a “alternate status” email. Does anyone know if this puts me as an alternate option for both locations?

Hi Sophie, I was also an alternate status and applied for both OKC and Tulsa. My preference was Tulsa, so when I came off the waitlist, it was for Tulsa. You might want to call though!

Has anyone gotten any other additional information yet? I’ve gotten my Ouhsc email set up but no further instructions from the college of nursing. And nothing on the self service “to do” list- except the application fee. So for the time being I’m just working from the list on the orientation page and holding on to documents until we get more information.

Okc- when is tulsa’s Orientation? Okc isn’t until May 15

Tulsa's orientation is April 5th. I'm not sure I could wait until May 15th to go over everything.

Maybe you can call and set up a one on one.

Oh jeez- yeah- we get 2 1/2 weeks before the start of the term. Maybe I’ll call in the next week or so if we don’t get more info soon.

Hello everyone! I have submitted my application for OU's ABSN program in Tulsa for 2020. Now that you are in, is there any advice you can give? How do you like the program? I am mostly concerned about my GPA in terms of being accepted. I have a 3.75 Science GPA and a 3.49 last 60 hours, so I think I am right on the border! I have finished all of my pre-reqs except Developmental Psychology. I have 2 weeks left in that class. OU emailed me asking about that pre-req. I hope that is a good sign. I previously have a Master's in Education in Secondary Science Education.

Is there anyone on here that is reapplying if you didn't get accepted last time?
