OU 2019 absn (2018 applicant)

Hey! Has anyone else applied to the absn program for 2019? Or heard back yet? I applied to Lawton in the spring and to OKC for summer.

hey, i’m seeing that many people are already getting accepted to the ABSN programs. are they doing rolling admissions this year? online it says the deadline isn't until November 1st for OKC and Tulsa, and it says early admissions is only for traditional BSN.

I'm just confused how people are already accepted when the deadline hasn't passed for the program. Can anyone help me out with understanding what's going on?

I submitted my application the first day applications opened. I sent in my transcripts about a week or so before so they already had them beforehand. I only applied to the Tulsa campus.

What were your GPA's and did you have all your pre-reqs done? I applied a while ago and have not heard back yet. I didn't know they made decisions this early.

Hello! 

I applied to OKC and Tulsa ABSN program back in October of 2021 right when it open for Summer 2022 program. 
 

For those in the program right now, what are the pros and cons for either location? And how long did it take to get a response?

Hi @Folakeo! I applied for the OKC program for Summer of 2022, too! When I emailed I was told we would hear back 4-6 weeks after the deadline.. hopeful thinking but maybe we will hear back quicker than that.

Whew! Okay, deadline was Jan 15 so from today to the 6 full weeks is Feb 26. I’m hoping it’s definitely sooner than that as well!
