Hey there! I am looking to apply this fall for the 2018 OU ABSN program. Any others find their way here yet?
I am still finishing up my first bachelor's degree but will be done in Dec. 2017. I was told that I can still apply in the fall.
I am expecting rejection or waitlisted due to the fact that I won't be finished with my degree, and my cumulative gpa is pretty rough. Hoping to have a 4.0 in last 60 and a 4.0 in Science with a pre-reqs completed to give myself a shot.
Would love to find others on this same journey!
I am taking my nutrition class and trying to brush up on anatomy and physiology, as it has been 20 years since I took those classes. I am thinking i will be one of the older students (45) in the group. I have also been working on getting immunization information lined out. My immunization record is lost. I have a verbal confirmation from OU that blood titers will be accepted, and luckily mine were returned positive for immunity. But I am not sure if boosters will be required or not....I wish that orientation were going to occur sooner to get answers on some of this stuff. I guess this is my opportunity to practice patience.
Hi everyone! Anyone coming from the Dallas area to the OKC campus?
Hey SK, me again. Same end result as you about vandy. So, I haven't decided if I'm going to go to OU or not, because I was accepted to Collin College's ADN program. It's appealing because I don't have to move from Dallas, and I can reapply to vanderbilt (if I ever get over being sour about it) with an ADN but we'll see

Thanks for letting me know. I feel like I'm checking 20 different places to make sure I don't miss anything, so I can chill out a little now and just watch OU email. haha
