  1. I am getting mine this Saturday at Moore Norman Technology Center. Cost is $49 and they had multiple dates available.
  2. Me too! Congratulations to you all as well! Can't wait to meet everyone.
  3. Yes! I was told 6-8 weeks. Hoping 6 rather than 8!
  4. I was just told what is considered competitive for GPA depends upon the applicant pool. I also got the impression that having all pre-requisites complete gives an advantage, but I could have misunderstood that.
  5. I am applying for Spring 2019! If I can get past a loophole in the NursingCAS, that is. That thing is going to be the death of me today.
  6. Hey, I don't think you are behind. There has been very little communication from the school. I attempted to upload back in January and it did not work. That was before the dates had been changed from the lawton group I think. Or could be user error. I seriously doubt any of us are very far ahead. Can't wait to meet people tomorrow
  7. I have not attended there. I am a vocational counselor in Oklahoma, and I work with vo-techs routinely. From my perspective, the vocational school system is good and prepares students well. All of the schools do have career advisers that will help you navigate and get those questions answered. Make an appointment if you can, I think you will find that very helpful. It has been a while since I sent anyone to Mid-Del, so cannot remember anything specifically. I did look at their website and there is not a whole lot of information (which seems to be pretty consistent across many vocational schools in our state). I am sure you know that you could also apply with Metro Tech and Francis Tuttle. Sorry I could not be of more help! But generally those career advisers are really good and, because the schools are tax supported, you do not have to worry about a sales pitch.
  8. I have not had any communication either.
  9. I am taking my nutrition class and trying to brush up on anatomy and physiology, as it has been 20 years since I took those classes. I am thinking i will be one of the older students (45) in the group. I have also been working on getting immunization information lined out. My immunization record is lost. I have a verbal confirmation from OU that blood titers will be accepted, and luckily mine were returned positive for immunity. But I am not sure if boosters will be required or not....I wish that orientation were going to occur sooner to get answers on some of this stuff. I guess this is my opportunity to practice patience.
  10. Yes, yes it does. I feel like a kid waiting for Christmas again. A weird Christmas with a lot of work to do, lol.
  11. :/ I called last week and talked to a gentleman that said the orientations were in February last year. I was hoping that would be the case again. Darn it!
  12. Has anyone in the OKC class heard anything regarding the orientation date?
  13. I called the College of Nursing, and they said that orientation for Lawton will be soon (she did not have a date). Tulsa and OKC orientation will be closer to class start date, and not in the next couple of weeks.
  14. I am having the same issue with logging in. I guess I will be patient and give it a day as well.
