Hello everyone!

I haven't seen a post for OHSU's 2024 ABSN program and figured I would start one!

Hi all! I applied to OHSU's ABSN Summer 2024 program and received an email last night, 2/6/24, to complete an asynchronous interview by 2/12/24. This is my first time applying! I'm 31, completed my bachelors in 2013, have 10 years of healthcare experience, and completed my pre-reqs at Oregon community colleges. 

My friend told me she wrote out things she wanted to highlight in her interview and taped that list above her laptop camera to reference if needed. 

I found a 3rd party blog with information about Kira interviews.

Does anyone have information about the number of questions expected for this interview?

In my opinion there is not really much way to practice for an interview where the questions aren't given out prior.

Yeah, it's hard to know what they're going to ask, but I'm kinda just going through my strengths/weaknesses, skills, experiences, etc. Just so I have a rough idea of what to talk about. Then I practice by looking at the camera and answering practice questions so I get used to the format.

Planning on completing mine this weekend. Spending the next couple of days compiling some key components I'd like to include in some answers.

Update: I received my invite tonight! I was so convinced I wasn't getting one when I saw everyone else receiving theirs on Tuesday. I applied for the ABSN to PhD and have until to the 15th to do the Kira assessment, then an additional interview with the PhD faculty. Anyone else in the same boat?
