  1. The hospital fund is an offer in exchange for 2 years of work following graduation. So OHSU will cover 5 terms of tuition and fees if I agree to work for OHSU for 2 years after graduation. If you don't work for them you incur a 25% penalty (~11K I think). I didn't apply for anything extra! I read in earlier posts that each year they evaluate their needs and offer the fund if they can.
  2. Amazing update for those hoping - I was offered the hospital fund today :') I've been somewhat tearful thinking about how much this will cut down my student debt. The hospital fund offer will cover all mandatory tuition and fees for five school terms! Good luck everyone!
  3. Dude. What is the hospital fund people keep posting about? Thanks LOL
  4. Hi hi! I applied and just heard that got into Linfield and OHSU. I'm going to start comparing the two schools... I'm not sure which one I will choose.
  5. Hi all! I applied to OHSU's ABSN Summer 2024 program and received an email last night, 2/6/24, to complete an asynchronous interview by 2/12/24. This is my first time applying! I'm 31, completed my bachelors in 2013, have 10 years of healthcare experience, and completed my pre-reqs at Oregon community colleges. My friend told me she wrote out things she wanted to highlight in her interview and taped that list above her laptop camera to reference if needed. I found a 3rd party blog with information about Kira interviews. https://www.savvypremed.com/blog/everything-you-need-to-know-about-the-kira-talent-interview-for-medical-school Good luck everyone!
