I haven't seen a post for Fall 2021 yet so here it is!
My choices are:
1. UofT
2. McMaster
3. Nipissing SPP
I started my OUAC application in November and now trying to work on the supplemental packages. My CASPer Test is on January 12, 2021.
I need to take Anatomy and Physio course(s) however, I'm having a hard time figuring out what would satisfy the requirements from all three universities. My options so far are:
1. Take CBLG 101 in Winter and CBLG 111 in Spring at Ryerson. However final grade will be in June; hoping that's fine. This satisfies all 3 unis
2. Take SCS 2159 in Winter from UofT which is enough for UofT and McMaster but not for Nipissing. I have to take an Anatomy course just for Nip.
I have a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education from back home, been working as an RECE in Toronto the last 8 years, have a Diploma in Nonprofit Management at Ryerson. My cGPA is 3.55 which I'm worried about. Lots of extra curricular activities from university and volunteering here in Toronto. I still have to compute the GPA for the last two years.
I requested WES to send my transcripts to Nip and McMaster and asked my old uni to send to UofT.
It's been an expensive application so far; really hoping I get in! Looking forward to chatting with you all and sharing our experiences.
I was thinking that was the case as I was trying to tell my relatives about the nurse practitioner program and they didn't know what that was.
Do you think it would be ideal to just get a masters in nursing that's research based and then come back to Canada and earn a nurse practitioner certificate?

I'd ask that question to either the university you wish to do NP postgrad or the regulatory body, because it's up to THEM to whether accept you or not e.g. uoft, CNO, or other province's regulatory bodies. They might not be able to answer at this point as well, because the scope of practice may change over years. I'd say focus on finishing your nursing degree first, ask the same question towards the end of your nursing degree, and plan accordingly.

Did you calculate your sub-GPA by finding the mid-point of each grade, for example A+/90-100% is 95%, A/85-89% is 87% etc. and then found the average? My sub-GPA (last two years) is ~3.75, which ends up being ~86.7% on Western's grading scale but I did not receive an acceptance yet. ?I wrote my casper on Feb 11.

My university uses a percentage scale so I didn't have to calculate my sub-GPA. Not sure if the date you took your Casper weighs into this too since it's rolling admission(?)
For Humber-UNB 2nd entry program, does anyone know if the minimum admission requirements are a GPA of 3.0 overall or just 3.0 in your last 60 credit hrs (I.e. last 2 yrs of study)? (assuming you have a 4 year degree finished)
For anyone who applied to york who was accepted or still waiting, how long was your application under the status "No Decision Yet - Currently Under Consideration"? Also how much is the CASPER test weighted on the application?

I think their website says that the casper is weighted one third of the application process.
In terms of application status, mine has been currently under consideration for over 4 weeks now and I am starting to stress.

Mine has also been like this for over 4 weeks. Are either of you still completing pre-reqs? I was thinking that they may be waiting on a pre-req that I'm finishing this semester. Hopefully we hear back soon! ?
Ya, I am completing two prerequisites, but it shouldn't matter because they told me it wouldn't affect my application. Also, you would receive a conditional offer if you are still completing prerequisites.
