  1. I had to complete 4 prerequisites after I graduated from university. I finished two in fall 2020 semester and just completed the other two this Winter 2021 semester. My offer is conditional as I have to maintain above 60% in those courses which I did. I requested my transcript to be sent at the end of Winter 2021 term on ouac.
  2. I had a 3.78 GPA in my final year. The EC’s I mentioned included volunteering in a colonoscopy screening clinic, a suicide specific distress line, a food bank, the Red Cross and a student group I was part of related to harm reduction.
  3. Hey! I got into uoft today as well! Is there a facebook group or something? I think someone mentioned before in this forum?
  4. Hi everyone, I am hoping to get some insight into two nursing programs that I received an offer to so far. I got an offer to Humber and Trent's accelerated nursing program. I am just wondering if anyone can tell me about either program, their clinical placements, and how well they prepare you.
  5. For those who got into Trent recently, have you received an admission package yet? I only received an email that I got an offer, and today on my OUAC account, it was updated to accept the offer. However I don’t know what conditions I need to meet.
  6. I got into Trent today, but where do you see how long you have to accept your offer? Do they send an email? All I got was an email stating I got an offer. Do I need to check on the mytrent account?
  7. Congrats to those who got into Uoft! Did you guys have research experiance?
  8. Sorry I forgot to mention that I have completed an undergraduate degree. I am pursuing nursing now, but have not received an offer yet. Therefore I am thinking of doing the RPN route to become an RN and then NP after that. But thank you for the information. I just wanted to get a better idea. Do you know if I can complete the RPN diploma quicker if I have a degree already if I have some credits?
  9. Hi there! I would like some insight into the application process of becoming an RN from RPN. I applied to accelerated nursing programs to become an RN but have not received any offer yet. I am waiting to see if I get in, if not I might accept the RPN program from humber college. What do I need to do to apply to bridge programs? Is it based on grades?
  10. Hi there! Is it hard to get into an RN program from RPN? I applied to accelerated nursing programs to become an RN but I haven’t received any offers yet other than an RPN offer from humber college. Just wondering if it is doable to go from RPN to RN
  11. Ya if I get into at least one accelerated program I would be relieved too. But right now I am just wondering what would I do if I don’t. How long was your application under review at Trent?
  12. has anyone considered going down the RPN route to becoming an RN just in case they don't get into a bachelor of nursing program?
  13. Ya, I am completing two prerequisites, but it shouldn't matter because they told me it wouldn't affect my application. Also, you would receive a conditional offer if you are still completing prerequisites.
  14. Ya mine changed today. I have been stressing as well ? I don't know how long it will take. But thanks for letting me know! I hope we both hear some good news.
  15. For anyone who applied to york who was accepted or still waiting, how long was your application under the status "No Decision Yet - Currently Under Consideration"? Also how much is the CASPER test weighted on the application?
