Hey everyone!
I haven't seen a post for Fall 2021 yet so here it is!
My choices are:
1. UofT
2. McMaster
3. Nipissing SPP
I started my OUAC application in November and now trying to work on the supplemental packages. My CASPer Test is on January 12, 2021.
I need to take Anatomy and Physio course(s) however, I'm having a hard time figuring out what would satisfy the requirements from all three universities. My options so far are:
1. Take CBLG 101 in Winter and CBLG 111 in Spring at Ryerson. However final grade will be in June; hoping that's fine. This satisfies all 3 unis
2. Take SCS 2159 in Winter from UofT which is enough for UofT and McMaster but not for Nipissing. I have to take an Anatomy course just for Nip.
I have a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education from back home, been working as an RECE in Toronto the last 8 years, have a Diploma in Nonprofit Management at Ryerson. My cGPA is 3.55 which I'm worried about. Lots of extra curricular activities from university and volunteering here in Toronto. I still have to compute the GPA for the last two years.
I requested WES to send my transcripts to Nip and McMaster and asked my old uni to send to UofT.
It's been an expensive application so far; really hoping I get in! Looking forward to chatting with you all and sharing our experiences.

Oof thanks for the accurate info! I honestly had no clue, I never even applied to Humber LOL! I just checked briefly to see the cost since someone replied to me saying that it's cheaper than Mac! I really hope I get into Mac. I wonder why their tuition is so much cheaper than everywhere else.
This question might have already been answered but I was wondering if anyone knew how McMaster calculated your average to consider you for admission? I know it’s your average for the last two years but do they calculate your GPA percent average based on their McMaster GPA scale on the McMaster Website? Or is it the OMSAS scale on the OUAC site?

If you are referring to doing a masters for the completion of pre-reqs, they would NOT count (unless it specifically is on the UofT list of acceptable credits). If the credits were done at an undergraduate level at another institution, they would count. If you did the credits and had not submitted your intent to graduate (5th year of undergraduate), they would count. For Western, most of these would also hold true (Western does not have a list of prereqs at the graduate level if that is what you mean). UofT allows you to submit a syllabus for comparison to see if the course satisfies their prereq so you can always email! I hope this provides some level of insight. ?

I got a conditional offer from Humber and requested my transcript to be sent with my final marks ,on ocas it says that my transcript has been sent but on the portal it still says that the conditions aren't met is the transcript supposed to also include that I completed my degree or is it just taking a while to update?
Congratulations. Please what was your GPA?

Ohh didn't know that! thank you ❤️

Does this mean that if I am doing pre-reqs as a non-degree student at U of T they will count toward my last 10 FCE GPA calculation? (for example, if I am applying next application round)

UofT would count it towards your pre-reqs if you are doing it through their continuing education school. From the wording of their website, I do not know if it would count towards your last 10 FCE GPA calculating (This would be a question to email them about but I believe its the last 10 courses that counted towards a degree).

That makes sense! Thank you ?

Nope I took Winter 21 off. I emailed Mac and they said they don’t look at the Winter sem.

I felt okay afterwards, there were a couple scenarios that I thought I didn’t do well on. I prepared a lot for it though.
