  1. I love the program so far but it is a lot of work as with any program! I find it a bit tricky to manage my time with school, lab and clinical but, they say that the first semester is the busiest and that as you progress through the program you get better at managing time. Technically UofT wasn't my top choice because I never thought I was going to get in! I applied to Uoft UBC western and Queens. I got rejected from UBC. waitlisted and ultimately rejected from Queens as they only accept a very small number (around 60ish) and got into western and UofT. I choose UofT as it is regarded as one of the best nursing schools in Canada and it is super close to downtown hospitals AND I've been told that hospital placement priority goes to UofT students first (not sure if this is true though). Let me know if you have any other questions ?
  2. I am currently at UofT in my first semester of the Accelerated Nursing Program. I wrote the Casper Test last year and tbh it is hard to type everything you want to say within the time limit. If you don't get to answer all the questions don't worry about it and don't let it get in the way of answering other questions. In your responses try to remain very impartial and do your best to mention that you would listen to the person/both parties before coming to a decision. ALL in all try your best, don't worry or stress too much about it and studying for it as this is not a super heavily weight component for getting into nursing programs.
  3. I would go with UofT based on the clinical placements! more hospitals!!
  4. yes I was on the waitlist since June 1st I think! or whenever western sent out a bunch of acceptances and waitlisted a bunch of people\
  5. I got a call from western today too!
  6. so in fourth year (2019-2020) I had a 3.9 this past year I took a post grad year and took psychology, Chemistry, two bio classes and two physiology classes and I think that my GPA was around a 3.6 or 3.7. I applied to UBC and when I did that they told me that my CASPER test scored a 2 out of 4. hopefully that helps you
  7. I had a 3.1 cgpa and got accepted to UofT
  8. it might have been a mistake since you haven't gotten a letter yet. Also was it in the last column or the design column?
  9. does anyone know when western sends out another round of acceptances?
  10. for UofT what is the CPR certification we need? I am trying to book through St. Johns Ambulance but I don't want to choose the wrong one
  11. thank you so much for your detailed response!! looking forward to September!! does anyone know how long it takes for the university to see we accepted our offer on OUAC?
  12. for UofT, do placements and clinical start in first semester?
  13. oh okay! thank you, I was super worried LOL
  14. I just accepted my offer on OUAC and now my account is acting weird, I can no longer see my choices or anything else. is this normal? I got a confirmation email that I accepted my offer but I am a little bit confused.
