Hey, I used to creep these forums for the past few years and they helped affirm my decision to apply to nursing school for Fall 2020. I didn't see one started for next year so I thought, why not start one?
I graduated a while back so I'm a bit older, but my top three choices are:
1. Queen's
2. McMaster
3. York
4. Humber-UNB

Ohhh okay. I already accepted Nipissing but just got the UofT offer today. So I'm wondering how it would work out to switch over

I'm an internal applicant for UofT so it isn't on OUAC for me but I just accepted via the Join portal. If you're external, you just have to decline/cancel your Nipissing offer on OUAC and accept UofT ?

OMG thats good to hear! But it still hasn't changed for 7 hours, still pending with a 'response due date'. I think I'll just stop stressing about it and look again tomorrow. Hopefully, it will update by then.
Congratulations to everyone who got into their respective programs! ?
To all those waiting on Western, check your e-mail! I just received an acceptance letter today, though OUAC hasn't been updated for me yet. (I'm a little nervous about that, but fingers crossed it's just taking a bit of time to update). Good luck to all that are still waiting to hear back❤️
Hey guys, should I be worried that my pending status didn't change since yesterday eventhough I have a June 1, 2020 response date for McMaster? I was thinking maybe Mosaic is slow on updating during the weekends but now I'm not too sure. I feel really paranoid that it might be an error or a glitch on the system. Did this happen to anyone?

Mine took over a day! Don’t stress!
Hi all!
I was wondering how some of you are feeling about having to move to a new city during COVID-19? More specifically trying to find a house but not sure what will happen come this September. I am personally all over the place about trying to find a house but also waiting to see if we will be online in the fall but also stuck on wondering if there will be any houses left if I wait too long.
I'd love to hear from some of you about this!

Hey!
I'm sure its hard to plan a move when everything seems so uncertain. It seems we're about to begin the steps to ease restrictions in the coming weeks. Even if school starts online in September, clinical placements are less predictable. I'm not sure the structure of your program, but some programs have clinical starting in the first few weeks.
I think that it would be best to plan for the move, it wouldn't be a bad thing to have already gotten yourself settled in your new city while classes are online and be ready to start whenever they choose to go back to normal! It seems it would be more stressful to have not moved yet and have to get it all together right when they announce they're re-opening.

hey!
Thanks so much for the response! I haven't thought of it in the way that if I wait I will be so stressed about finding something in such a short period of time (if there is even anything left LOL).
Thanks again!
