Ontario Second Entry Nursing Fall 2020

Updated:   Published

Hey, I used to creep these forums for the past few years and they helped affirm my decision to apply to nursing school for Fall 2020. I didn't see one started for next year so I thought, why not start one?

I graduated a while back so I'm a bit older, but my top three choices are:

1. Queen's

2. McMaster

3. York

4. Humber-UNB

Hey! I would cancel the OUAC one just in case, but not sure if you need to.

Otherwise, yeah you just click accept on Join and wait for it to update. For me I think it took 2 days before it changed the status on Join to show that I had accepted it. I double checked with Tammy that this is all we have to do and she confirmed ?

Thank you! I cancelled the other one just in case ?

For those of you who applied to Mac- do you have your degree yet or did you just complete your prerequisites???

Please let me know if you don’t mind !

? Thanks

CONGRATS!! ? Do you know if they accept students who meet and or exceed pre req/ but don’t have a degree yet?

Hey folks, congratulations to everyone that has been getting acceptances!

I'm reading my offer from Toronto and I'm a bit confused by the wording. Does anybody know if I have to pay the deposit by my offer deadline? I'd ideally like to push it off as long as possible and it says something about a deposit deadline of June 1st, but I obviously don't want to lose my spot!

I'm not sure when you were accepted but originally my deposit was supposed to be due May 1st. I emailed and asked for an extension. They said I'd have till June 1st latest to submit the deposit (but should probably submit a week earlier for processing). I don't know if they would extend the deposit past June 1st but you can always ask. I feel like with everything going on they'd probably be lenient.

Is there a facebook page for anyone who got accepted to York? If not, I can make one!

Congratulation to you all who got acceptances!

I am still waiting for UoT but since I applied only to 2, I got excited when I got York's offer in mid March and accepted. @Haha2401Can you make one, please? That will be great!

Hey, CONGRATS! I was able to book my advising session through myfile. As for the enrollment deposit, I believe that's made, after you select your courses.

I was accepted into Nipissing's Scholar Practitioner Program today!

CONGRATS! ? Did they contact you through email or call you? Also, would you mind sharing your GPA?
