Ontario Second Entry Nursing Fall 2020

Hey, I used to creep these forums for the past few years and they helped affirm my decision to apply to nursing school for Fall 2020. I didn't see one started for next year so I thought, why not start one?

I graduated a while back so I'm a bit older, but my top three choices are:

1. Queen's

2. McMaster

3. York

4. Humber-UNB

I think they are slowly updating mosaic. I sat there refreshing for 30 minutes! Just hang in there, it should update soon.

It changes from pending to conditional. The offer letter hasn't become visible yet though which is odd. Only the status changes!

So odd! Does it say what the offer is conditional upon?

Hey guys!! I also got a conditional offer at Mac!! My last 10.0 GPA was around 3.84

Do people think Mac sent out all their offers today? I haven't gotten one, and I'm nervous what this means about how I did on CASPer. (My dream school is UBC and they take it into consideration). My GPA is a 3.93/4.3 or ~3.83/4.0 on my last 10 classes.

Do we think more offers will come out tomorrow?

Does anyone know if schools get updated transcripts with our final grades and if so is that how they determine who is accepted in the final round? Sorry, this may be a silly question LOL I'm feeling impatient ?

I am thinking Mac takes more than just sub-GPA into consideration because I got an offer and my GPA is not the best tbh. Maybe the CASPer test and extracurriculars/volunteer experience are heavily weighted. Could also be if you completed an undergraduate degree before applying, or even how you scored on the pre-reqs. I wouldn't give up hope though there's definitely going to be more offers sent out I bet!

Hey! CONGRATS on all the offers, and best of luck to all those waiting. I am currently at Queen's for their AST nursing program. I went to Western for my first 2 years undergrad. I applied and go into Queens, Western, and Humber. Let me know if I can answer any questions, I remember how stressful it was in this waiting game.

Hey guys just got accepted to Mac's accelerated nursing program! Looks like they're still sending offers today! (cause I didn't receive one yesterday.

GPA in the last two years was about a 3.9/4.
