Ontario Second Entry Nursing Fall 2020

Hey, I used to creep these forums for the past few years and they helped affirm my decision to apply to nursing school for Fall 2020. I didn't see one started for next year so I thought, why not start one?

I graduated a while back so I'm a bit older, but my top three choices are:

1. Queen's

2. McMaster

3. York

4. Humber-UNB

Yayyy!! CONGRATS!! Are u an internal applicant? And I don't think an FB page was created yet and that's a good idea.

Hi All

I only applied to Queen's, McMaster and Western. My cummulative GPA is 3.6/4.3. Is it pretty hopeless that I am going to get an offer now? I got the notice about being on the Queen's waitlist but do they just put everyone on it? So disappointed as I really wanted nursing.

I *think* McMaster has yet to send out offers and Western might send out more (the first few round of offers are expiring this May). Waiting is definitely tough, but hang in there! And if it doesn't happen this year, keep on keeping if nursing really is what you want. ? Good luck, I hope you hear back soon!

Hey guys, for those who applied to McMaster I just noticed that on mosaic under my application it now says the "response due date is June 01, 2020", even though my status is still pending...I was wondering if that is the case for others to. I found it odd for them to update a due date for us to respond while our application was pending. I am an internal applicant if that helps.

I'm an external applicant and I don't see anything myself. I'm going to go ahead and assume you're about to get an offer and that it may not have been uploaded fully yet. Someone did say offers for Mac are going out early May.

Mine doesn’t and now I’m freaking out that I didn’t get in! I’m an external applicant.

This might sound dumb but I am not sure what that means :S. Do you mean an Ontario resident? Or like someone who previously went to Mac?

I am from the martitimes and have not gone to Mac, if that helps!
