Hey, I used to creep these forums for the past few years and they helped affirm my decision to apply to nursing school for Fall 2020. I didn't see one started for next year so I thought, why not start one?
I graduated a while back so I'm a bit older, but my top three choices are:
1. Queen's
2. McMaster
3. York
4. Humber-UNB

My cGPA is 11.83 & my major GPA is 11.93 (both on a 12.0 scale) - it took me 6 years to finish my degree though, working part time and studying part time. And I want to say for anyone in the middle of a comeback story - it's totally possible. I was a high school drop out whose mental health ruined my life in my late teens. I gained things back in my twenties through a lot of hard work and I'm so proud of myself today! Wishing everyone luck in their journeys!
AMAZING!!! CONGRATULATIONS! Anything is possible no matter the obstacles. You should be soooo proud of yourself!! Congratulations again!

Are you able to access Acorn yet? As an internal applicant I already checked that a lot, but I believe you can use your Join info to log in there. If you're able to get on, you actually can pay by credit card (Visa or Mastercard)- that's what I did a few days ago.
If not, then you have to pay by cert cheque or money order and then you would usually have to go to the bank to set that up and mail it to the address in your admissions letter- all of this info is at the end of the letter
Just got an offer of admission to Western's accelerated nursing program!! I saw the acceptance on my Student Account (haven't received an email or ouac yet)
For anyone in the future reading this and is curious about my GPA, I have a 3.9/4.0 in the last 10.0 university credits. I also did not take a full course load in my last year of university (took 3 courses per semester, then a full course in the Summer both before and after my 4th year).
For CASPer, not sure how much Western weighs it but I felt okay after doing it. I remember the first section threw me off a bit but I think some of my other sections were a lot stronger. There is a lot of good free advice and examples online as to how to approach the CASPer test (don't pay for any of those casper tutoring services if you can, totally not necessary).
My offer of admission expires May 22. Western will be my backup as I am interested in attending McMaster as my first choice. As of now, I'm still waiting to hear back from them. But this acceptance gives me some hope because McMaster's admission requirements were essentially the same as Western's.

For anyone in the future reading this and is curious about my GPA:
(I will edit my post with my GPA in a few mins for those that are curious. It's close to 3.9 I believe but I'll get it exact)
I just checked my account and I also got an offer of admission to the western accelerated nursing program. I had a similar GPA as well in my last 10.0 FCE, around a 3.9.

I have a 3.15 cGPA, but I was very sick during my undergraduate degree so that factored into my letter a lot. I think that, plus good references helped.
Edit: I had ECs too. I was a volunteer in the NICU, I worked and I danced ballet while recovering and doing my studies
