Ontario Second Entry Nursing Fall 2020

Hey, I used to creep these forums for the past few years and they helped affirm my decision to apply to nursing school for Fall 2020. I didn't see one started for next year so I thought, why not start one?

I graduated a while back so I'm a bit older, but my top three choices are:

1. Queen's

2. McMaster

3. York

4. Humber-UNB

Hey everyone! I’ve been lurking this message board for a bit now and thought I’d finally leave a comment (or question)! I’ve seen a bunch of people talking about sending final grades to u of t in hopes it will boost chances of getting accepted. I’m in my final year of my undergrad and the grades from my fourth year are better than the ones from my third year so I would also like to get my final transcript in as soon as possible too! However my last exam isn’t until noon pst on April 29th (which is late compared to some other schools) and my transcript likely won’t be updated until early- mid May. I’m just wondering if u of t gives priority to those who submit final grades earlier than others? I’m hoping not because that would not be so good for me!

If anyone knows or has any idea about this and could share with me that would be great! Thanks guys and good luck to everyone still waiting to hear from schools!

Hi there! to be honest I do not think your chances will be affected as from previous forums people got full acceptances even as late as June 1st so I am sure those people also got their transcripts submitted in May! I do not even know if they will take in the current grades I got for my Winter term but since I got 3 or 4 of them and only missing 1 I just wanted to give them my updated transcripts and then the final one once all 5 are in. Not even sure if they will count the one I sent now since all 5 grades are not in, but I am expecting all my grades to come in by April 28th or 29th. Good Luck tho! Do not lose hope! I saw in a forum in 2017 that someone got in with a 3.3 or 3.2 GPA.

Congratulations! There's a facebook group created by the NUS at UofT that you can join where they'll be posting updates ?

Hey guys! Do any of you know if I have to resend my transcript for the Winter term through OUAC so my uni can send it to U of T or do we upload as a document through our JoinID but then it would be an unofficial transcript...kinda confused as to what I should do

Hi!

Yes I finished my undergrad last year. But I was taking 2 courses part-time this semester so I'm still waiting for my finals grades for those.

Hey guys I also received my acceptance to UofT today! I'm in my last year of my undergrad, my final grades haven't been processed yet

Thank you! I'm not sure if I'm going to accept yet debating between this and SPP ?but what is the group chat for UofT called?
