Hey, I used to creep these forums for the past few years and they helped affirm my decision to apply to nursing school for Fall 2020. I didn't see one started for next year so I thought, why not start one?
I graduated a while back so I'm a bit older, but my top three choices are:
1. Queen's
2. McMaster
3. York
4. Humber-UNB

If you're able to get on, you actually can pay by credit card (Visa or Mastercard)- that's what I did a few days ago.
If not, then you have to pay by cert cheque or money order and then you would usually have to go to the bank to set that up and mail it to the address in your admissions letter- all of this info is at the end of the letter
I’m an internal applicant too! Did you pay through the acorn website? Thanks for your help!
Hey guys! CONGRATS to everyone who just got acceptances!! I just checked and was accepted to western too however I’ll be declining it for UofT so a spot will open up! Goodluck everyone ?

Best of luck, I hope you hear some good news soon!
Thanks a lot for the info! Very good to know

Congratulations on your acceptance! You should take this opportunity ? I think they have NP option in the program
do you know any direct entry MSN available in Ontario?

My cGPA is 11.83 & my major GPA is 11.93 (both on a 12.0 scale) - it took me 6 years to finish my degree though, working part time and studying part time. And I want to say for anyone in the middle of a comeback story - it's totally possible. I was a high school drop out whose mental health ruined my life in my late teens. I gained things back in my twenties through a lot of hard work and I'm so proud of myself today! Wishing everyone luck in their journeys!
AMAZING! I dont know you and have not meet you in person but I feel very proud of you! LOL. You are so inspiring!

I do want to do the NP option, but you have to work a certain number of hours in the field before you can apply. Generally it amounts to two years full time.
Unfortunately, McGill is the only university in Canada that offers this type of program.
Edit: I'm also aware this is the wrong board to post this, but the DE MSc program is one that Second Entry students might apply to as well.

I saw in a past year that those who got scholarships found out around the same time as their acceptance.
I e-mailed nursing awards and they said they are still reviewing awards applications and will start notifying applicants on an on-going basis as of early May.

Hi! ? This might be a silly question but I just want to make sure I'm not missing anything (it's my first time using Acorn).
I paid online a couple days ago, and under "finances," it says that I made deposit payments "that have not yet been applied to fees." Will I have to apply it manually by myself? Or would it automatically do so after a while?

Hey! I'm pretty sure that just means that you paid the deposit and the reason it says it "hasn't been applied to fees" is because it hasn't yet been deducted from your tuition (they subtract 500 from the tuition later on)

Oh I see, thanks so much for your help!

I wanted to submit this updated transcript and then eventually the final one when all 5/5 grades for my Winter semester are updated.
Hi there! I have the same question! I've been waiting for my final grades to be posted for a while too, my finals ended last Friday. I needed 3 prerequisites and therefore need these grades before I can expect a reply back from York or UofT. I really hope our professors+uni hurries and posts them soon. The waiting is so hard! Good luck to everyone still waiting!

Hello! I have a question for those who plan on transferring/have applied to transfer credits to Humber-UNB’s preparatory semester. Are you sending the transcript from OCAS? I saw in an email that we should send all completed forms and required documents to the email address provided.
