Hey, I used to creep these forums for the past few years and they helped affirm my decision to apply to nursing school for Fall 2020. I didn't see one started for next year so I thought, why not start one?
I graduated a while back so I'm a bit older, but my top three choices are:
1. Queen's
2. McMaster
3. York
4. Humber-UNB

I could totally understand you! I am still waiting to hear back from UofT, but I am currently on the waitlist for SPP. Just because I did my undergrad at UT, and I did not really have a good experience. I found SPP is a much hands on program for nursing practice. Besides, a lot of nurses at Toronto general were saying that UT did not prepare nurses well in clinical, and a lot of new grads struggled a lot. Surprisingly, I did not encountered that many nurses graduated from UT at General. But I did know one, and she said she liked the program, but felt the same way about lack of hands on experiences.
My GPA for my last 5.0 credits is 3.85 but to give those of you waiting some hope, I struggled a lot in my first 2 years of undergrad and my cGPA is on the lower side it's a 3.36!!

OMG that's amazing! You deserve it! I also had a rough first two years due to my grandma passing which affected my cgpa badly. I hope u of t only looks at my fourth year
Does anyone know if U of T automatically converts my Western GPA (5.0 FCE) using Toronto's grading scale? Or does U of T calculate my GPA based on Western's grading scale?
I'm asking because my Western GPA (5.0 FCE) is 3.69 (B+), but based on Toronto's scale, my GPA would be a 3.71 (A-).
CONGRATS on people who got in. Those waiting, hang in there <3
