Ontario Second Entry Nursing Fall 2020

Hey, I used to creep these forums for the past few years and they helped affirm my decision to apply to nursing school for Fall 2020. I didn't see one started for next year so I thought, why not start one?

I graduated a while back so I'm a bit older, but my top three choices are:

1. Queen's

2. McMaster

3. York

4. Humber-UNB

The wait is filled with anxiety and restlessness and I'm glad to see such supportive and encouraging people on here ❤️ Best of luck to everyone and take care of yourselves ?

Anybody else worried about how they're going to finance their nursing education (if accepted, of course)? I'm in the unfortunate situation that I don't qualify for the new CERB or any form of EI because I was actually unemployed before the pandemic even begun. It's even worse that the schools I applied for are all far away from where I live so I'll have to rent out a place as well.

This actually sucks so much... ?

My file still say's " No decision yet- Currently under consideration". Its been like that for about 4 weeks now, its driving me crazy, LOL! I just hope I get accepted.

osap gives out bursaries, make sure u apply. and look for external scholarships too.

Yes, I'm an internal applicant. Finished my degree at York last year.

Ohh OK. Because I'm internal as well but since Janurary my status has been "Pneding- awaiting approval from requested majors". Not sure what this means but I'm getting impatient LOL

Ahhh OK! Me to,I keep checking my status everyday, every hour and every minute. But hopefully we will hear good news real soon!!

Yess hopefully! Such a nerve wracking time. Did yours say pending before or just straight to under consideration?

It said "No decision yet" before, then a few weeks ago it changed to "No decision yet- Currently Under Consideration"
