I still haven't heard anything from UofT, I haven't received any e-mails regarding waitlist OR rejections. Should I call them?

Last time I called I left a message, but no one got back to me

Did anyone hear anything from UofT after confirming their interest on the waitlist yet?

I also still haven't heard back from UofT after confirming that I would like to stay on the waiting list, so I guess they haven't emailed anyone yet. Hopefully we will hear back soon 🙂

Does anyone know what the percentage of people who get off the waitlist to UofT is? Or how this even works (i.e. the last possible day they could let you know by)? Do they send out 200 acceptances, 300 acceptances or just the 172 then as they number drops below the 172 people then they start accepting off of the waitlist? I am just stressing about what is going to happen with my life come September! Any input would help!

I'm not sure about the specific stats regarding UofT's admissions process and how they decide who gets off the waitlist (if anyone gets off at all) as the applicant pool/competition varies each year. However, from what I can see from last year's forum people could get off the waitlist as far as the last week of August and I've heard it's even possible to be admitted merely days before school starts. I'm sure that doesn't even include those who weren't even on this forum. The ball's basically in their court at this point and as hard as it is, we're just gonna have to wait and see what happens!

I'm still also waiting for any news regarding the Student Preparedness Permit steps for waitlisted students

Hey guys! I got an alternate offer from Trent to do their honors science program for a year and then apply for their nursing again. Does anybody know anything about this or know if I'll even have a better chance of getting in by doing this? I just don't want to waste my time if I'm going to be denied again.

I would call Trent admissions and ask about transferring into the Nursing program once you're a science student there.  If that's the case then it looks like there's a lot of intro courses you could take biol, psych, Trent students are required to take a first year indigenous studies course..

Have you thought about applying to an RPN program and then taking a bridge to BScN program later? I've seen that discussed on this forum a little earlier and it seems like a smart route too.

There are so many different paths to get there! Keep exploring all your options, you got this!

Sorry to be repeating but has anyone received the Student Prepared Permit email from UofT yet? I'm getting nervous about no response from them about the waitlist! Thanks 😁

Noo I haven’t gotten anything either! I emailed them regarding confirmations and they said nothing. Hopefully they’ll send it soon!
