Hello Everyone,
I am currently a third year York University student hoping to apply for second entry nursing at York
only next year (yes I am going through the strike).
Since applications open in November, I thought it would be best to get this forum started. I am hoping to get more insight into the program and I hope current and past nursing students would share their views on the program and how job searching went. Also, what nursing specialties do most York nursing graduates enter as I am hoping to get into public health. Furthermore, share your insights on Humber, McMaster, U of T, Trent, Queens, Western, Ottawa and Nippissing. (I think that is all) and don't forget to include your acceptance GPAs.

I have a 3.7 for the last 2 years

also, do you mind sharing the date you have to reply back to the offer?

Student centre! Ouac hasn't updated yet. ? I had an 11.9 (on 12 point scale) in the last two years which seems to convert to 3.97 on the 4-point scale.

I got into Humber and my final annual gpa was a 3.91 from UofT. I think they're still working on sending out acceptances/processing applications so I wouldn't give up hope yet! Best of luck to you. ?

My last 2 year average was 82-83%. Make sure you meet all their pre-requisites though! I have a Bachelor of Applied Science and a MPH - and I still had to take a gr12 math course!

Hey everyone,
does anyone know which scale (for example OMSAS) UofT uses to calculate final year GPA? Or would it just be the UofT scale? I'm thinking they have to have some sort of standard scale otherwise its all just arbitrary.
