Blinn ADN Spring 2017

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hey all,

Just applied for Blinn college's spring 2017 nursing program. I just wanted to get some more info on how long it will take to find out if I'm in or not. Also if you were or are in Blinn's nursing school and have any tips or any insight about how it is that would be very helpful! Thanks!! :)

Apparently they received my application even though I never received the above mentioned email. I did just receive an email about fingerprinting and the BON, which I did last year so I'm good.

I haven't gotten either email.. I'm thinking I should email them?

I got them email too! I believe it was for people who have already had finger printing done. It was just stating that we will not have to re do finger prints and will have to just submit our blue card.

Yea, I wasn't sure if everyone received it. I need to find my blue card. It's been over a year, but I'm hoping it's in my file cabinet. If not I guess I can contact the BON for a replacement.

I just got my email for provisional acceptance! I'm so happy

Same here. Still unsure whether I will accept or not, but it is nice having options.

I wonder if that means they have already sent out all of the provisional acceptances or if there will be more

Do you mind sharing how many points yall had?

I had 36.4 points according to my calculations.

I had 34.5 points. They said in one of the info sessions that they only send out provisional acceptances to the top half which would be 30 people or so since they acceptable 60-65 people a semester.

So what about the other half? Just curious since I never attended an info session. I know little about Blinn since I haven't been there in 20 years and my wife graduated from their nursing school in 2000.
