Blinn ADN Spring 2017

Hey all,

Just applied for Blinn college's spring 2017 nursing program. I just wanted to get some more info on how long it will take to find out if I'm in or not. Also if you were or are in Blinn's nursing school and have any tips or any insight about how it is that would be very helpful! Thanks!! :)

So I didn't get a provisional acceptance:( I got into an accelerated program and another RN program, but there is no way I can afford to move so I have been praying for Blinn. I am still pretty confused about how many people are getting admitted? I got an email about getting my fingerprints completed, so does that mean I'm possibly an alternate? 30 spots compared to 60 is a HUGE difference.
Did you get an email about finger printing?

So I did not receive a provisional acceptance letter but I received an email today saying that one was sent to me... Has that happened to anyone else? I'm a little confused..

The email I got today said the rest of the acceptances won't go out until after the semester is over .. So probably mid December

That's crazy. I feel for those having to wait so long before knowing something.

yes, but I called and she said that it was highly unlikely that I would get a spot, as there were a lot of people ahead of me. She also said that they were accepting around 30-35.

how do you know how many people are ahead of you? I thought they haven't finished going through all of the applications yet

I'm not entirely sure...she just told me that there were a lot of people ahead of me. She couldn't give me a number.

Honestly I not sure, I added it up when I initially applied but I applied to so many with a point system they all got mixed up.
