6 months here. I hope u enjoy your trip to Disney and they leave u and your pee alone. My tests are also funny. I’ll get 3 in a week then none for a long time. No telling. All we can do is stay clean and count the days. Good luck!!!

Hey guys have y’all ever known a nurse to get suspension as discipline for a first offense? If the Bon suspends me after 3 1/2 years then they are crazy! I will know oct 8 . I’m even ok with probation , my boss is understanding and is going to keep me on board as an infection control nurse as long as I’m not suspended . I don’t have to even worry about narc keys

I don’t think you get suspended for a first offense on monitoring here. However, they do make folks repeat rehab sometimes and essentially that is a suspension plus they make u start over

gotcha. Surely I won’t have to repeat rehab, heck nov will be 4 years. I don’t know how any rehab could justify treating me, and I know insurance wouldn’t pay if I’m clean .

What happened

I went to rehab in November 2015 for drug and alcohol abuse. I diverted discontinued meds from home health patients. I self reported in feb 2016. I didn’t finish inpatient but finished an intensive outpatient a few months afterwards. Been clean a long time and have been working a nurse since with no action on my license. Now the Bon gets in touch with me almost 4 years later

Well you are just starting and you did complete a rehab so I would hope that with your clean time they would let you keep working but these folks can be money grubbing and nonsensical

No test for FORTY NINE Days... We leave Saturday for a ten day trip to Disney. I have been planning this for two years. Last vacation I was selected the day after we arrived. I swear they plan this... I have never waited 49 days for a test. TAKE MY PEE!!

Gosh, I don't blame you AT ALL for feeling how you do and tell you I'm sorry this is happening to you! I DO hope that you have an awesome trip!!!

They waited 59 days to test me.

Waited till right in the middle of our Disney vacation.

However, the urgent care was so friendly, quick, and easy to get to. The room was filled with sick little kids and parents who were seeing their trip potentially altered/ruined. I chose not to let it bother me as much as it would have last year.

Seriously though. 59 days...
