After 3 long years, I have one more clinical between me and graduation. I feel great, but weird at the same time (and afraid and somewhat unprepared!) I am looking forward to digesting knowledge through application. I found a dream unit where people are respectful and compassionate (and they're natural teachers!) If I can land a job there, I think I'll be alright. It'll be nice to have the time to focus on reading material at home that I feel I need (rather than 200 weekly pages of sheer information for the next test!)
Anyway, this site has been really helpful along the way and I'd like to say: Thank you Brian and all of the people who spend time making this site a success.
Regards,

Can I give u some advice. On ur last clinical, make sure u get there early and stay late for any teaching or seminars being done. I did this and it really helped me during my last 6 weeks as a SN. Ask TONS of questions re what ur doing, and try to soak up as much knowledge as u can.
Doing this stood me in good stead.

Of course you can give me some advice Carol. I love and appreciate free advice ! I should have said it was my last clinical day of my program though. Nevertheless, it is great advice, and I did take advantage of it.
Thank you,
