Thanks for the heads up. I wasn't expecting it until 10/31 but found out that I passed also. Congrats to those who passed and for those who didn't...don't let it get you down. It was a new test and we were the guinea pigs.

My first post too! And I passed too......... So relieved! I found out on 10/21. Congratulations to all who passed and for those who didn't, I am sorry! The test was hard, in my opinion. I felt like it was all over the board and I left feeling as though I had no idea if I passed or failed. I would not have been surprised by either result. It was excruciating having to wait 2 months!!!!

Hi! Do any of you have a masters degree in case management? I'm a new nurse, I am interested in getting my specialization in case management in the future, but it looks like an MSN is not really necessary to find a job as case manager. Any suggestions?
Thanks

Great job!!! I'm preparing for the exam offered in December. How long did you prepare and what study materials did you use?
Hi rondaj605,
I studied off and on for a whole year! It wasn't until about 2 months before the test that I found out it would be a whole new blueprint. I used CCMC Exam Secrets by Mometrix and about two weeks before the test , I found the website http://casemanagementstudyguide.com/ccm-exam-overview/ which helped a lot! I think she actually has a book out now too. Good luck!!! It sure will be nice getting an instant notification of your result. Those of us who took it in August had to wait 2 months.

I too am going to take the test in December. Let me know if you need a study buddy. I could use one. :)

I was happy they were available early! I passed, too! While I was waiting I registered to take ANCC's CM exam and also passed that one. Congratulations!

I have an associates degree and have been working as a case manager so I would say no, a masters degree is not necessary. I was a nurse for over 20 years and experience definitely counts in case management.
