  1. I got my results 10/20/16 and I passed!
  2. I took the course by Sandra Lowery. It was very good. Her study materials were good but I think no one really knew what the test was comprised of so there isn't any updated study materials out there. I also used the book titled CCM exam made easy by Mometrix. Don't bother with that one. It's a good book but there was nothing on the exam from the book.
  3. I just took the August CCM exam. It was nothing like I expected! I definitely over studied (spent about 200 hours). The exam itself seemed to be quite superficial. Seemed the only in depth questions were around work comp and behavioral health. I finished in 2 hrs. I did spend the money on a 2 day course which I can tell you it's not needed. Only about 15% of the content of the book from the course was on the test. I do think it's very unfair they make you wait till 10/31 while they " run the numbers" to determine what is passing. That's 10 weeks from now! If you have been a nurse in the case management area for any length of time, you probably know all the answers. The process to sign in to the testing center sure was interesting. I thought you only got wanded at the airport, no so. Apparently, you're a danger during your exam. Hope this helps.
