Hi...I took the CCM test just this last December and passed. I am a horrible test taker as well. Are you on FB by any chance? There is a great group called Case Managers Community....it is a wealth of information!!!!! It was my go to place. There is a book called CCM Certification Made Easy that was my main study source along with the glossary. Good luck to you!

CCM Made Easy now has their Second edition book available which coincides with the new test format. :) I just looked n the CCM website and saw that test. I might purchase it when it gets to be closer to test time. Thanks, Good Luck and please keep me posted on how you do!

What 2 day course did you take if you don't mind me asking? I was thinking of taking one of them. I am a nurse case manager in work comp specifically.....so ALL the other stuff is what scares me which is way more than the work comp stuff. What study materials did you find most helpful? I was going to take the test in August but deferred to Dec. as I haven't had much time to study this summer.....thanks for the info!

Hi there! I actually deferred until December due to kids being home for the summer and little time to study. I have been studying today and I will tell you the book I find most helpful is the CCM Certification Made Easy (Second edition)....you mentioned this reference in your post. I had talked to the CCMC directly a few months back and they had said they did not update their test questions yet to coincide with the new test format.......I asked them then how in the heck can one study for the test? They had said they were working on it and I haven't checked since so maybe the questions you can purchase have been updated????? I sure hope so!!!! I'm going to go check this out! I read that about having to wait for the score....that really sucks. I have taken it in the past 1 1/2 years ago and did not pass...it was nice knowing that right away. The wait will be horrible!
