OMG I got a spot!!!!!!!

I just got a spot for Fall!!!! I've been on the wait list since May and they don't move you off wait list after July so you have to wait and reapply for the following fall. Well, w/ three days to go in July I was giving up hope. Then I got THE CALL this afternoon! There is SOOOOOO much I have to get done in the next month, YIKES! I'm just over the moon excited though! I can't believe this is finally happening!

I Passed my NET and HESSI and I turned in my Application completed and was told I was first 1st Interveiew for a spring 2010 spot.Asked what My chances were of having to wait out more than this semester..and she said.."I dont see any chance..We save a few spots for PN to RN advanced entry students,and so far youre IT ) * dance dance

Hey if I were you I would get those extra classes out of the way ASAP! I thought I had 3 years and now I'm first alternate for THIS FALL! That's right, I moved up 2 years in a matter of months! Now I'm stuck doing my chem and a&p2 classes along with my nursing... Oh well! Just my

Wow! things move fast these days! I really want to take it slow though. There're way too many nurses with out a job. I don't even want to look a the graduate tread. I've been feeling depressed since.

I don't even know if I should feel happy for the ones getting accepted anymore. I was able to help one land an interview. She was considering moving out of state and leaving her husband home. So sad, but congrats to you.

Thanks for the advice. I have 5 classes left and I have it planned out to take 2 classes Fall, 2 in the spring and 1 after that. After this Fall, my sciences will be done and the rest are fairly easy. (Child dev, nutrition, humanities) That leaves me basically a year off to refresh the info and get ready.
