I'm an out of state new grad and applied to the icu residency. Is there anyone else who applied or has been accepted? If so can you tell me a little about the program and safe places to live in Baton Rouge? Thanks in advance for your time.

I'm an out of state new grad and applied to the ICU residency. Is there anyone else who applied or has been accepted? If so can you tell me a little more about the program and safe places to live in Baton Rouge, Louisiana? Thanks in advance for your time. The Louisiana forum doesn't seem to be too active, and I noticed that several have applied out of state before in previous forums however that was years ago.

I don't know much about the new grad program but I know a lot about Baton Rouge. Will you be looking for an apartment or house?

Thanks for replying. I would prefer apartments, but the fact that there isn't much info on this program/residency makes me a bit apprehensive.
