Your welcome. I'm actually applying to ICU residencies. I have an interview next week with OU medical. I agree I think that a residency will be great especially if your going into a speciality.

Only the first time, it says if you've already filled it out it'll be on file for 12 months.

Thanks for replying. I would prefer apartments, but the fact that there isn't much info on this program/residency makes me a bit apprehensive.

Hi everyone, I'm an out of state new grad and applied to the ICU residency. Is there anyone else who applied or has been accepted? If so can you tell me a little more about the program and safe places to live in Baton Rouge, Louisiana? Thanks in advance for your time. The Louisiana forum doesn't seem to be too active, and I noticed that several have applied out of state before in previous forums however that was years ago.

I can definitely relate to you. When I was younger I always thought I would be married and have a family at the age of 25 ( wanted to enjoy them while I was young & retire earlier). However, now that I am actually 25 I wonder what in the world was I thinking. I plan to go back for my Masters eventually and advance my career. So, I don't for see kids in my future until the age of 29. However, I am a female and your a male so you can probably have one at 50 if you so chose to but bare in mind that once you've fallen head over heels for Lady Love if your not already your perspective will more than likely change once she puts her two cents on the matter..Lol! I'm pretty sure years down the road you'll figure out a way to have your cookie and eat it too. Sorry for any typos using my cellphone and auto correct is driving me nuts....; )

This is a old thread, but I just saw it and wanted you to know I graduated from La Inter and passed nclex using Uworld and I only studied for about 3 weeks seriously. Try it! I loved it, its so informative with pictures and diagrams.

Have you considered moving out of state or is that not an option?

I am a graduate of the BSN program. What information are you looking for that you haven't found on the thread?
