OK i really think I failed the Nclex

I know EXACTLY how you are feeling right now. I also took the NCLEX-RN today and got somewhere around 160 questions before it shut off, and I left the testing center CERTAIN I failed. I kept getting questions about stuff I wasn't very familiar with, and felt like everything I have studied for months wasn't even covered. I went to a very prestigious nursing school where all of my classmates so far have passed in 75 questions, and I am just so worried about how embarrassing it will be for me to fail. I worked so hard through nursing school and in preparing for this test, and now I just feel like it is all to waste (assuming I don't pass). I keep trying to distract myself from thinking about it (played guitar hero tonight for about 4 hours) until the results are in Saturday. I will be doing alot of praying tonight and tomorrow, and hopefully soon there will be good news for both of us!

I hear you I feel the same way. all this studying and school and I felt i didn't know anything..makes me so mad lol... makes me feel bad to that i recieved a job offer from an interview I just had.. they called me today after the exam. so Now i feel more pressure lol. i think my knees will be bruised up from praying all nite...

congratulations to you!!!!!!!

this is why we always tell everyone to wait until they receive their results as well as sounding like a broken record, the number of questions that one receives has absolutely no bearing in determining if they will pass or not.

you have just as much a chance at passing at 75 or 265. i stopped at 75 my bff at 100, someone else n our class at 150, 125, 200, 265...we all passed, you're going to worry until you find out...so go to the movies, a spa, disneyland...you can't do anything about it at this point.

Ok just got back from taking my nclex-RN. I read many post and see that everyone thinks they failed but then somehow they passed. But I really think I failed. My computer shut off at between 90-94 questions. dont remember . But I see everyone posting that they stopped at 75 questions or 80 . I dont see many or anyone in that matter that recently stopped around the 90's. I know they say it doesn't matter how many questions you finish with but I just see the majority of people say they stopped at 75. Anyone that could give me words of encouragement please do lol.. I am feeling really down.. I thought I was prepared. I was doing 100 questions min a day for a while. Read many books.. But when I took the test it was like it was in chineese. I saw manythings I never learned or a few havn't heard of. And when I feel good about the questions the answer choices we wiered to me. lol Oh well. Just let me know if anyone knows of people that stopped in the 90 question ranges or higher and passed.

Hey one can never tell if you pass or failby number of questions. I did pass with 87 thoughHang in there and let us know good luck:smokin:
