Anyone else applying for Fall 2015 BSN program at OHSU?
I am getting my application together now, but I wont be able to finalize or submit it until after December when fall term grades are posted. I am only applying to OHSU, specifically the Monmouth campus. I currently have a 3.93GPA and after Fall term I will have all but two prerequisites finished. The remaining two are Writing-122 and Nutrition.
I think I have a pretty competitive application but there is still a lot of doubt.
I have experience working in long term care and also as an EMT in an under served rural community. I know I will also get extra consideration for having already taken Microbiology.
I know we are still months away from interviews or acceptance letters but it would be nice to get the conversation started and get to know others who will be applying for 2015.
I don't know how many people are focusing on the Klamath Falls location @ OIT. I received an e-mail for an interview next month! Super happy, this was the e-mail I needed right now having applied to 4 schools OHSU is my top pick for RN.
Time to go shopping for some new clothes for interviews.
Does anyone know how many typically apply to Chemeketa's program?
I was wondering the same thing. At the information session I went to they let us know that last year there was a much smaller number than most years. I'm hoping that's the case again this year! Lol
Me too! I actually called and asked and she said around 180 people. I have no idea if that is high or low! I hope it's low!! :)
You may have a better frame of reference as to whether 180 applicants is high or low if you consider that Chemeketa anticipates admitting 48-56 students in the upcoming cohort, with about 20 alternative spots.
Do you remember what the supplemental questions were that we were asked to complete on the OHSU app? I can't access my NursingCAS app anymore because it was the 2.0 version:(
