OHSU BSN Fall 2017

Published

Hi all I just thought I would start this, since there doesn't appear to be anything started for the Fall 2017 3 year BSN at OHSU. Feel free to update as you get emails regarding interviews, acceptances, etc. This week it looks like everyone should be hopefully getting a email hearing something if they are chosen for a interview. I wonder if due to the lack of any posts for the Fall 2017 that means that competition isn't as fierce as in prior cycles... this is probably not the case. But it seems like the cohort has been alot more quite then in the past.

Got the email at 10:40, I'm in! Good luck to everybody finding out today!!!!

I did not get in but I will see you all next year! í ½í¸Ž

I am in to OHSU PDX....I am thrilled.

I got the acceptance email!! So excited to start nursing school at ohsu-Portland campus!!

A HUGE congrats to everyone that got into OHSU (all campuses) what an amazing accomplishment! I'm anxiously awaiting my response from PCC and yesterday had an interview at MHCC for the respiratory practitioner program. We shall see! Did anyone who applied to PCC get any communication from the school regarding how many points that had prior to the proctored essay? I figured it out what I think mine might be based off the application but was hoping to determine if I was accurate or not. Good luck to everyone this fall!

Mbells, can you give me some info about OHSU. How is the work load? Where are you taking the non nursing required 15 credits and in general any tips for starting the school?

Work load is heavy but not all that bad. I spend a fair amount of time stuying and we have a lot of clinical hours. They are really supportive and that helps a lot. I'm taking them at PSU, starting this term and a lot of us are taking the same class this term so we can work together. We have found a lot of the PDFs of the books online so I would check online first before buying. I would also start on compliance things as soon as you can. It will make it a lot less stressful!! I'd be happy to answer any other questions!
