OHSU BSN Fall 2017

Hi all I just thought I would start this, since there doesn't appear to be anything started for the Fall 2017 3 year BSN at OHSU. Feel free to update as you get emails regarding interviews, acceptances, etc. This week it looks like everyone should be hopefully getting a email hearing something if they are chosen for a interview. I wonder if due to the lack of any posts for the Fall 2017 that means that competition isn't as fierce as in prior cycles... this is probably not the case. But it seems like the cohort has been alot more quite then in the past.

So happy for you! I'm going to wait for PCC and MHCC respiratory program responses before I accept/decline my spot at Clark. I can't believe it's all finally happening this fall. Good luck at OHSU what an amazing school to get your nursing education!

Is RT something you want to do? I have a friend that finished RT program, but a few years later decided to go into nursing. Another person I know finished RT, but works in the hospital admitting patients at the front desk. My other friend told me not to go into RT because there aren't very many jobs with this profession. I think you should really decide what you want to do. I was tempted to apply for RT, but overcame this because I know at the end I want to be a nurse.

I know, after anxiously awaiting for so long now I'm so nervous and scared to open the email when it comes. I'm not super hopeful as I don't think my points were super high but I really LOVED the program!

Hi everyone,

I'm just wondering if anyone in here has applied and been accepted to UP and might be choosing another school instead? I'm on the waitlist and besides Linfield, which I'm applying to in June, it's one of the only places I've applied to. Thanks and congrats to everyone that's been accepted into nursing programs this year!
