OHSU ABSN 2019-2020

Hi all! Is anyone an applicant for the ABSN program for the 2019-2020 cohort for OHSU? It's such a competitive program and I'd love to share insights and chat with anyone else going for it this year. As you might be able to tell, I'm applying for the nurse-midwifery program. My stats aren't that great but I'm going to cross my fingers and hopefully learn from the experience ?

Guys, I’m dying to know if anyone has heard back or rumors of admission. I emailed the admissions comm but not response (assuming that they’re busy)...

Had my interview yesterday. It went okay (I think? I guess?) and now we wait! All of the applicants are very impressive. Just wanted to share some stats that were shared with us: for ABSN, 515 people applied, they are interviewing 122, and 56 people will be admitted. Yowza! Also, we were told that they are meeting to finalize admissions decisions on March 8, so we will hear via email sometime after that.

Good luck everyone! It truly is extremely competitive, so if we don't get in one year, we've just gotta keep trying.

Anyone know how many applicants are interviewed and how many are usually accepted for Ashland?

26 ABSN and 6 ABSN-FNP/DNP fast track students are accepted into the Ashland cohort, for a total of 32 students. Hope this helps!

Decisions for OHSU ABSN Portland are most likely to be released tomorrow. Anybody else who’s excited? :D It’s taking them enough; all other schools I applied have already released theirs. Lol

Wait, today!? I thought they said they would be meeting today to make decisions and starting Monday decisions would be sent out. The wait is killing me!
