Has anyone attended their program or know anyone who has. They are saying the FNP takes 27 months and the entire cost is $22,100. The cost makes me weary Trying to find reviews on the internet but not having any success.
Applications are on hold? What does that mean? After everything was done, it took about 3 weeks. 3 very loooong weeks, lol! I was told it could be slightly longer. My letters of recommendations were submitted online. If you do this, which I think you have to, make sure you contact the admissions people after they are all submitted (you will get notification of this via email) so they can mark your file as "complete". I also had all of my transcripts sent before I finished my application, so at least there wasn't a delay in that department. Good Luck!
Hello,
So I got into Ohio University's FNP program and I also got into Wilkes University's Adult NP program both for the Fall. Does anyone know if one school is better than the other? Also, how about any pro's/con's of FNP vs ANP? My goal is to work in the ED as an NP if it helps. Thanks!

I just found out I was accepted to OU's online FNP program for Fall '12. I, too, have been checking this site for any and all feedback regarding their program. I won't begin until August, but I promise to keep you posted about my experience. My advice: Apply ASAP. They are filling up fast for all start dates (ex: no longer accepting applications for Summer or Fall 2012). If you are an OU student you can apply before you finish your BSN. Do it!
